Inchie Puffs

These are Inchie Puffs, machine embroidered ,they are created from an old large pattern of an origami  picture frame and  this size is for a 4 inch block that is folded in a very specific way to produce a Quilt As You Go smaller  block.

A four inch hoop is needed and like all Inchies just a tapestry needle and thread will put them together.

They can be used to create any sized quilt, they can be made into simple pin cushions, lavender sachets,Christmas decorations and to grace the front of handbags as the purple nine patch in the image ended up being for a 16 yr old.

Like all Inchies they are hand stitched together and once the new technique is learnt it is very simple to do.

This work will easily fit in a purse to take where ever you have time to sit and stitch.

The pattern comes with a fully illustrated PDF that explains how to create the block.



Blocks can be stuffed to a high loft with wadding or low with thin batting,the center square can even be quilted as in the pale green Inchie Puff above it just depends on the look you are after.
